Next Generation IT has appointed a business development director as it looks to further expand its market share.
Jason Connolly has over 20 years experience within the IT industry and has spent the last 10 years as business development manager for another local IT company.
‘Next Generation IT already has a fantastic reputation which has been built up since Matt Hale and Tom Heyworth established the business. I intend to build on that excellent track record to further grow our customer base and the success of the company,’ he said.
‘Many of our clients outsource the provision of their IT systems and support to us, and they rely on us entirely to meet their current and future IT needs and challenges. This gives them access to skilled and professional IT staff, whilst reducing spend on IT and allowing them to focus on their core business’
Mr Connolly shares his co-directors vision to run an IT company which puts its customers and employees first.
‘Next Generation IT has been growing steadily since its inception in 2003 and now employs some of the island’s best IT specialists. I see a great opportunity in Guernsey for a well run IT company with an excellent reputation and motivated employees. The level of our expertise means that we can provide a tailored and personal service to our clients. Our aim is to always listen to the client, and to be responsive both to their requirements and in the day-to-day support of their business,’ he said.
In his new role Mr Connolly, who is married with two children, will focus on customer service and communication to ensure Next Generation IT remains easy to deal with. He will also work with new and existing clients to help maximise the value they receive from their IT budgets and make the best use of existing and emerging technologies.
‘Matt and I recognised that in order for the company to grow while maintaining a high level of service that we needed to strengthen the management team. Jason’s skills and experience are exactly what we needed to grow the business and we look forward to working with new clients, employing more staff and maintaining our relationships with our existing client base,’ said co-founding director Mr Heyworth.
