Our client, a leading telecoms organisation, are currently seeking a skilled engineer in the island of Alderney, Channel Islands. The role is to install, test and resolve faults for Residential clients based in the island, including Wi-Fi solutions, together with associated wiring systems, telephones, and terminal equipment. The successful candidate will also manage the installation, test, commissioning and fault resolution of Business Services, supported from Guernsey based engineering teams. The role will nclude assisting and training customers in the use of systems and services.
To be eligible for this role you will need to be technically skilled or be able to demonstrate ability and willingness to obtain this level. You must possess strong customer service skills and be a highly motivated individual possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skill. Have an appreciation of the telecommunications market and customers. Our client will provide a work permit / housing licence with this role.
