An international provider of insurance based products is looking to hire a support analyst for its Guernsey office. The successful candidate will work closely with OSC Development and QA teams on all aspects of the strategy plan for the evolution of the OSC.
The role requires day-to-day monitoring of the Online Service Centre issues raised via the Service Desk. Under guidance from a Support Manager, you will communicate with the operational business teams to investigate and resolve issues to their satisfaction. Monitor the status of online systems, in order to undertake remedial actions as required and communicate any issues with the status of the OSC to internal stakeholders and external users. Deploy new software releases to the Production environment and provide technical support.
To be suitable for this role you will ideally have experience in supporting production software systems. Knowledge of database tools such as SQL, SSIS and SSRS. Hold a degree in computer science, software development or similar. Excellent time management and prioritisation techniques. Results-focused and deadline-driven. Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Willingness to work in a flexible and dynamic team.
